College/School College of Science and Health Responsibilities
The Physics Department invites expressions of interest in part-time faculty teaching opportunities for the 2018-2019 Academic Year within the following areas:
1. using PER methods,
2. teaching algebra based sequence
3. and/or teaching physics to the non-science students

In order to best serve the students, part-time faculty are expected to perform all duties and responsibilities of a faculty member that are commensurate and consistent with the faculty member's qualifications and the best interests of DePaul University.
Required Qualifications
PhD or equivalent professional experience in the subject area to be taught is required.

Equivalent professional experience would be at least 10 years of professional experience or 5 years of professional experience and an undergraduate degree in a related field.

A commitment to teaching is required; teaching experience on the college level is strongly desired.

Ongoing activity in the relevant field is also desired.
