College/School College of Education Responsibilities
The Office of Innovative Professional Learning (OIPL) in the College of Education invites expressions of interest for part-time faculty teaching opportunities for the 2017-18 Academic Year. The OIPL provides schools and organizations individualized and customized professional development, coaching, or mentoring that relies on best practices and creating a professional learning community. Adjunct teaching opportunities are available throughout the academic year, including summer sessions. Applicants with expertise that matches with the current projects of the office will be contacted for an interview. Projects fluctuate from quarter to quarter and selected individuals will work with the Office of Innovative Professional Learning on a per project basis. Projects are not guaranteed; however the Office does its best to give ample notice about available opportunities and potential cancellations.

The Office of Innovative Professional Learning seeks applicants with expertise and experience in the following areas:

• Facilitating Professional Development for Adult Learners
• Training teachers in best Practices in Teaching Practice Areas including:
*Curriculum design
*Student engagement
*Assessment
*Content area integration
*Data driven instruction
• International Baccalaureate Programs (MYP and DP)
• Online Training or Instruction
• Micro-credentialing
• Civic Literacy and Engagement
• Teaching in international contexts
• STEAM and STEM Education
• Counseling, psychology, and/or neuroscience as it relates to teaching
• Mindfulness and Growth Mindset

Location
