College/School College of Education Responsibilities
The Department of Teacher Education, Middle Grades Program in the College of Education, invites expressions of interest for part-time faculty teaching opportunities, for the 2017-2018 Academic Year. Part-time teaching positions are available throughout the academic year, including summer sessions. Applicants with expertise that matches course scheduling needs will be contacted for an interview. Academic course schedules fluctuate from quarter to quarter and selected individuals will work with program faculty to determine a quarterly schedule. Courses are not guaranteed; however the Department does its best to give ample notice about available courses and potential course cancellations.

The Middle Grades Education Program seeks applicants with expertise and experience in the following areas:

• Middle Grades Generalist
• Middle Grades Literacy
• Middle Grades English Language Arts
• Middle Grades Math
• Middle Grades Social Studies
• Middle Grades Science
• Middle Grades Assessment

Required Qualifications
Applicants must have a Master's degree. Some courses may require a Doctorate degree. Applicants for Teacher Education methods courses must have minimum of 5 years of experience at the level of licensure.
