Princeton University

Overview

Reporting to the Dean of the College, the Senior Associate Dean for International Programs executes the University’s vision for undergraduate international programs and international experiential, immersive learning at Princeton. In collaboration with others in the Office of the Dean of the College and across the University, the Senior Associate Dean knits together the units within the Office of International Programs (OIP) to develop and deliver a coherent, multifaceted approach to the international component of undergraduate students’ experience at Princeton.

Through the Novogratz Bridge Year Program placements, international summer internship experiences, semester- and year-long study abroad opportunities, post-graduate international fellowships, and more, Princeton undergraduate students have the potential to structure international learning experiences as a flexible and integral component of their programs of study.

The Senior Associate Dean helps articulate and execute this facet of Princeton’s undergraduate education. The dean serves as the primary Office of the Dean of the College liaison to the Provost’s Office of International Affairs and Operations (IAO) and the Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies (PIIRS).
