POSITION:INSTRUCTORS- NON-CREDIT CLASSES

LOCATION:PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND LIFELONG LEARNING

JOB SUMMARY: New Jersey City University's Division of Professional Education and Lifelong Learning invites applications from individuals interested in teaching non-credit classes. Various short-term courses, in a variety of topic areas, will be offered during the day, evening, and on weekends in Jersey City NJ or at selected off campus locations.

Classes can meet one or more days per week and the length of class time can vary from a minimum of 2 hours to a maximum of 8 hours per day. Most classes meet for 3 or 4 sessions. Instructors will be needed in the following subject areas:

Microsoft office
Social media marketing
Web design
Soft skills
Leadership
Time management
Project management
Entrepreneurship
Social entrepreneurship
Environmental issues
Allied health care
Coding
Data analysis

Computer literacy

REQUIREMENTS: Pay for these classes is determined based on the frequency and duration of each class with no University benefits.

EDUCATION: Bachelor`s degree.

EXPERIENCE: Work experience in the program content area.

REQUIRED: Letter of application, Curriculum Vitae, and contact information for three professional references.

PREFERRED: Teaching experience with adult students is preferred.
