Duties and Responsibilities
ENGINEER - TRAINEE TEMPORARY 
Provides efficient and professional engineering services for the maintenance of the building and grounds of the College. 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Maintains the building equipment and machinery to keep them in excellent working condition. 
  • Adheres to CCC Customer Service Excellence standards. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Current listing on the Local # 399’s Apprenticeship List is required. 
  • Knowledge of building operations, systems and equipment repair methods with mechanical ability required. 
  • Must possess a high school diploma or the equivalent.

  • Increase the rate of transfer to Bachelor’s degree programs following CCC graduation
  • Drastically improve outcomes for students needing remediation
  • Increase number and share of ABE/GED/ESL students who advance to and succeed in college-level courses

Accomplishing these goals will benefit not only our students, but also our faculty and staff, four-year colleges, Chicago area employers, the Chicago Public Schools and communities...and help transform us into a world-class institution.
