Work Schedule: Schedule is determined based on the needs of the department. Candidate must have availability on Wednesdays. This position will work approximately 16-20 hours per week, between the hours of 9:00 am and 6:30 pm, Monday- Friday. Supervisor will work with selected candidate to arrange a schedule designed to support the demands of the department.
Job Description:
SUMMARYWorks directly with students, providing academic tutorial assistance in support of the material taught in class.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supports the department’s goal of providing students with supplemental academic support by:
- Provides one-to-one and small group tutoring
- Develops and implements non-credit workshops
- Conducts “class visits” and assists with publicizing services
- Assists with the maintenance of records
- Completes all necessary paperwork accurately and according to stated deadlines
- Assists with the development and maintenance of departmental instructional materials
- Performs other duties as assigned

Special Note: Experience in Mathematics is required: however it is preferred candidates have experience in additional STEM fields including one or more of the following:
- Biology
- (Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology Chemistry (Inorganic, Organic)
- Technology
