Basic Function

Teach engineering design and or digital electronics and logic design.

Duties and Responsibilities

Adjunct faculty are employed to teach up to 12 credit hours in the Fall and Spring semester and up to 10 credit hours during summer session. Teaching load is based upon student enrollment ans staffing needs. Instruction may be during the day, evening, or weekend.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in Engineering related field with at least 18 credits in Engineering coursework. Experience in basic instructional technology and learning management systems, such as Canvas.

Preferred Qualifications

PhD in Engineering related field, digital electronics and logic design, mechanical engineering, computer or electrical engineering is preferred.
Experience with design software, such as Inventor and AutoCad. Experience with project management related to engineering. Experience teaching various modes, including hybrid is a plus.
Experience teaching a diverse student population is preferred. College-level and community college teaching experience preferred.

•Classes maybe held during the day, evening or combination of both.
