Position Summary

Manage day-to-day operations of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions by continuously assessing and improving operations to ensure the College of Nursing attracts a diverse pool of the best and brightest applicants. Develop ways to enhance efficiencies and improve office productivity. Evaluate and recommend applicants for admissions to the Bachelor's Program. Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote Program and services to prospective students. Plan, implement, and attend student recruitment and other admissions-related special events. Advise prospective students on University's and College's requirements: admissions, academic requirements (including technical standards), policies and procedures, program curricula and professional values and ethics. Collaborates with the NYU Office of Undergraduate Admissions and serves as the liaison with various University offices, external social services agencies and professional nursing and healthcare organizations to promote College's Undergraduate Program. Provides statistical reports on admissions data and the related impact towards achieving enrollment goals. Evaluates transfer credit for transfer students and posts credits

 

Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's degree.Preferred Education:Master's degree.Required Experience:At least 3 years' progressively responsible experience in higher education such as admissions and recruitment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Experience:Experience in admissions from a top tier school.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Access Database to manage and analyze statistical data.
