Position Summary

NYU Stern is one of the largest and most multifaceted business schools in the world and has always been among the most innovative schools programmatically. The school has over 5,000 students and a suite of degree and certificate programs including the flagship undergraduate and full-time MBA programs; part-time, Executive and Global Executive MBA programs; a range of MS degrees; and newly-launched focused MBAs in Tech and in Fashion & Luxury and Executive MBA in Washington DC. To support our Global Executive MBA programs, Stern has an exciting opportunity for a Director, Global Degree Programs on our Executive Programs team.

 

The Director will lead all recruiting, marketing, and admissions efforts for all Global Degree Programs (Trium Global EMBA, MS in Global Finance, MS in Risk Management, and MS in Business Analytics) to ensure that individuals are attracted to and engage Stern for global degree programs. The Director will work with leadership to determine and forecast admissions and enrollment goals for each of the programs and the best strategies to meet these goals. S/he will also evaluate and modify selection criteria for applicants to achieve these goals in keeping with Stern's brand and the strategic vision of the school. The Director will also develop and implement global recruitment and yield strategies, conduct admissions interviews and provide high-level support to applicants globally. S/he will manage and develop staff and manage global programs budget.

Qualifications

The selected candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (MBA or Master’s degree preferred) and 7 years of progressively responsible professional experience in admissions, developing strategic sales and marketing plans, and relationship management in the corporate market or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven ability to develop School's relationships with global applicants, partner institutions and corporate firms in order to increase interest and participation in global degree programs. Excellent presentation, networking, and written and verbal communication skills are also essential. Global travel is required.
