Residence Hall Director

Description:
The Residence Director is responsible for the overall management of a residential community housing 260 to 375 students. This unique position requires the RD to live on campus in order to fulfill frequent evening and weekend responsibilities (such as advising students and hall governments, facilitating and participating in programming efforts, and assisting with special campus events) as well as serving in an on-call capacity to respond to both emergency and non-crisis situations.

Campus Location: Boston Campus

Required Knowledge:
Master’s degree in student personnel or other related field and a minimum of one year full time related experience beyond the bachelor’s level is required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required. Must possess a solid understanding of student development theory and the needs of learning communities

Preferred/Desirable Knowledge:


Required Prior Work Experience:
Minimum of one year full time related work experience beyond the bachelor’s level.
