Job SummaryProvides professional audio services for various shows, special events, and in other performance areas throughout the company, in the community, and during promotional tours.Job ResponsibilitiesPosition Scope
Operates playback and other small production systems in the manner instructed.
Assists with the set-up and striking of audio systems in assigned work area(s).
Learns how to troubleshoot malfunctioning audio systems to identify and correct the problem, and assists with troubleshooting when authorized to do so.
Requirements
Must have good eye sight and manual dexterity, and be capable of a full range of body movement.
Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
Must attach resume and current semester class schedule (weekly view).
Should have a high school education.

Physical RequirementsUsually works indoors in and around theatrical stage areas with limited access to assigned work areas.Job hazards include, but are not limited to, slipping on wet catwalks, roofs, stage and/or steps, occasional poor ventilation and temperature control, electrical shocks, minor muscle and or back strains due to lifting and moving of equipment, and potential for serious injury due to falling off of catwalks or roofs, or electrocution during troubleshooting and/or repair work.
Uses various types of microphones (i.e. dynamic, wireless, etc. ), direct box, cassette, CD and reel tape players; headsets, processing equipment (i.e. equalizers, enhancers, crossovers, compressors, mixers, etc.); amplifiers, speaker systems; communication equipment (i.e. intercom, RF radios, etc.); testing equipment (i.e. oscilloscope, volt meter, etc.); safety belts, ladders, and electric carts.
Uses various hand tools, electrical wire, electricians tape, schematics, and systems manuals.
Work schedule varies according to assigned work shift, Monday through Saturday with one day off.ExperienceLicense/Certifications
