DescriptionPayroll, Benefits & HRIS is seeking to hire a multi-faceted and skilled Assistant Director, HRIS, Payroll & Benefits.  The scope of responsibility will include these specific duties but is not limited to the following,

  • Crafts queries and reports for validating the integrity and accuracy of data

  • Manage and ensure Manager Self Service (MSS) transactions are processed in a timely manner

  • Execute of day-to-day employee transactions that are completed in PeopleSoft

  • Develop and direct the functional implementation, maintenance, and training for all human resources information systems

  • Develop, implement, and maintain user procedures, HRIS, and records guidelines in accordance to federal and state regulations along with Board of Regents guidelines

  • Work with the Shared Service Center on the functional implementation of the Human Capital Management (HCM) system and other modules (Careers)

  • Assist with implementation of training for various end-users groups

  • Supervise and coordinate teams and trainers related to HCM processes and projects

  • Plan and implement of operation security

  • Process employee separation notices (Vets 4212, DOL800 & other Department of Labor Requests, open records and other data requests, Affirmative Action Plans, Time & Labor and MSS transactions)

  • Assist with setting up schedules for employees in PeopleSoft. Provide training to end users

  • Manage on-boarding and off-boarding process and ensure the timely processing of data

  • Ensures the functioning and operations of the current HCMs

  • Support and maintains the archives and storage areas for legal compliance the for Finance and Administration unit

  • Research issues and make recommendations for continuous Improvement in the areas of customer service and productivity

  • Oversees the HRIS mailboxes ([email protected] & [email protected], etc.)

QualificationsBachelor's degree and three years of related supervisory/management experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
