Overview

The Program Manager oversees the management, administration and assessment of PPPL’s Emergency Services Unit and Site Protection Division programs ensuring compliance of DOE Policy and PPPL procedures and continued improvement of division level operations.

 

The Program Manager develops, implements, manages and oversees the planning, coordination, and administration of each program, ensuring adherence to PPPL’s standards, guidelines, policies and procedures while supporting/supervising staff in program delivery.

  • Host/Visitor Management & Training 
  • ORPS – Occurrence Reporting Program Administrator
  • ORPS Quarterly Reports
  • Facility Manager Assignments 
  • Emergency Broadcast Administrator
  • PTENS/Tiger Alerts System (Accountability, ERO/EOC)
  • All Staff Emails for security notifications, homepage & emergency hotline 
  • Performance Assurance Assessment
  • Implement monthly assessments for Division/Platoon
  • Level Safeguards and Securities (S&S) elements
  • Develop corrective action plan per assessment results
  • Manage the heat maps based on operational needs (schedule & testing)
  • KPI – Key Performance Indicator for SPD
  • Website & Google groups Administrator
  • Documentation Retention & Management
  • Material & Services Procurement

OVERSITE AND TRAINING

  • ACAMs (Access Control & Management System)
  • ACAMS Report Generation
  • Site Access Control
  • Visitor Management
  • Badging & Administrative Operations
  • Tours, Workshops & Meeting
  • ESU Materials & Service Procurement
  • Procures all ESU uniform requirements and needs
  • Provides all Security, EMS supplies and services
  • BEM-Building Evacuation Monitor Program
  • Maintain and manage the BEM assignments for laboratory
  • Work with BEM Coordinator (ESU Captains) to fulfill training requirements for all BEMs & Alternate BEMs 

EVENT PLANNER

  • VIP Visits & Workgroups
  • Coordinator with Laura Hefty, Protocol Officer to ensure DOE Compliance
  • Meeting Facilitator with oversight and Security Staff (Captains)

PROGRAM SUPPORT

  • Program Support for PPPL, DOE Policy/Programs & Divisional Operations
  • ACAMS
  • Badging & Administrative Operations
  • Tours and Special Events
  • EPIP- Emergency Preparedness Implementation Plan
  • EPP – Emergency Preparedness Plan
  • COOP – Continuity of Operations Plan
  • ESU Operations
  • SSP – Site Security Plan

  • Training Initiatives
  • Fire Pre-Plans
  • Self-Assessments
  • Property Protection Areas (PPA)

 

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years Administrative experience.
  • Minimum 1 year Security and/or related experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong multitasking skills.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Advanced problem solving and attention to detail.
  • Experience in web development.
