Primary responsibilities of Associate Director of Employer Relations include developing and implementing policies and procedures that ensure a high-quality recruiting program that reflects the needs and expectations of alumni, employers and students. Includes coordinating all activities related to the on-campus recruiting program; and connecting students to employers in their job search. Additional responsibilities include event coordination; and conducting outreach with alumni, employers, faculty, staff members and friends of the college. Reports to the Director of the Ferguson Career Center.  Some travel, evening and weekend work is required. Remote work is a possibility.

Master’s degree with minimum of 3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, are required. Handshake experience, preferred. Previous employer relations or recruiter experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference given to candidates with event management expertise, computer proficiency (particularly with web and database development/Handshake); effective oral and written communication skills; and the ability to establish rapport with students, faculty and staff, alumni, employers and friends of the college in a strong liberal arts environment.
