Job Description

The Department of Counseling, Health & Kinesiology is currently seeking a non-tenure track position to begin in Summer/Fall of 2019. Responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in Counseling. Quality performance will be expected in teaching. Work hours depend on course schedule. Teaching assignments may include day, night, or weekend courses.  

Necessary Qualifications:
•    Ph.D. in Counseling, Counselor Education and Supervision, or a related educational field. 
•    18 graduate hours in each field in which candidate will teach.  
•    Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence 
•    Demonstrated ability in working with culturally diverse populations 
•    University teaching and supervisory experience  

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Experience mentoring students in areas of expertise 
•    Experience with educational technology and distance learning 
•    Candidates prepared to engage in cross-disciplinary teaching and service
