General Summary of Position:

The College of Education is seeking to hire a dynamic Clinical Field Coordinator and a program advisor for the College’s online programs. This is a full time, 12 month benefited position.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include but not limited to:

  • Locating and maintaining field placements for all elementary, special education, and secondary education students who enroll in pre-practica and practica courses each semester.
  • Building and maintaining new and existing partnerships with area public schools and developing effective working relationships with K-12 principals.
  • Communicate with practicum sites to facilitate placement arrangements and practicum implementation; process practicum agreements and MOUs.
  • Collaborating with the program coordinators in elementary and secondary education to organize supervisor orientation and training sessions.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Licensure Officer to provide needed DESE information for student licensure.
  • When necessary, contributing to reports required for state and national accreditation.
  • Advise graduate students in six online programs.
  • Coordinate with faculty online programs to insure the scope and sequence the quality of online programs.
  • Manage inquiries from prospective and current students seeking field placements and advising.
  • Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • An earned master’s in education or a comparable degree
  • Experience working in K-12 school settings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and technological skills
