The Clayton State University Department of Visual and Performing Arts seeks two part-time instructors to teach Film Production courses beginning in Fall 2018. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree and at least 18 graduate hours in Film Production with an emphasis in one of the following areas: camera, lighting, audio, visual effects, or animation. One candidate hired will teach one section of Digital Imaging (CMS 2410) and one of Audio Recording and Sound Design (CMS 3420) in the Fall semester. The other candidate will teach a course TBD depending on specialty. In subsequent semesters, cinematography, visual effects, audio recording and more will be taught. Other courses in the Film Production major may be available to teach, so please list all appropriate teaching and Film production experience.
