Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job

This is a 75% teaching and 25% research appointment with service activities required for promotion, merit pay increases and tenure. Primary teaching and research responsibilities will be in the discipline of Animal Science with an emphasis in intensive management systems of wildlife production. Wildlife production related courses or principles of wildlife management, game animal production, habitat and pond management, game birds and waterfowl and other related wildlife management and production courses. Teaching responsibilities may also include other animal science or related courses on as needed bases. Ability to teach traditional and online courses is expected with good communication skills. The successful applicant will contribute to our growing undergraduate and graduate research program and competitive collegiate teams.

Educational Requirements for the Position

An earned doctorate in Wildlife Management, Animal Science, Range Science or closely related field is required. ABD candidates may be considered.
