Requirements

Program Manager - Georgetown University Medical Center
The Project Coordinator will assist the Project Director in providing managerial oversight of the MACS/WIHS Combined Cohort Study (MWCCS), and in coordinating the field operations for the MWCCS Georgetown site and the two sub-sites (INOVA Juniper & Montgomery County Health Services). The Duties of the Coordinator include but are not limited to:
  • Assist with the implementation of research protocol; research participants' retention activities participation in national study working groups.
  • Assure that quality requirements are met in all participating sites.
  • Responsible for making sure that all the IRB requirements are met for the studies at Georgetown and assist the sub-sites with their IRB requirements.
  • Coordinate sub-studies as needed.
  • Provide assistance in preparing and submitting grant applications and research papers.
  • Coordinate WIHS faculty and staff travel and assist with NIH grant submissions.
  • Provide support to the Division Administrator as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience working in an office or academic /medical setting.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations; manage multiple projects simultaneously, work independently and perform in a high-pressure environment.
  • Must show initiative and possess exceptional problem solving skills.
  • Experience implementing research protocols, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance required.
  • Strong skills in Word, Excel, and power point desired.
