Overview
Participate in the design, development and operation of state of the art instrumentation and control systems in support of a wide range of current and future projects at PPPL.
Responsibilities
- Develop, Maintain, Support software in a Linux environment.
- Daily operation and maintenance of Plant Control and Monitoring System.
- Computer Administration.
- Embedded System development and support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience
Experience with Linux administration: (Redhat, CentOS)
Experience with Ethernet protocols (TCP, UDP)
Exposure to Version control Software (SVN, GIT)
Exposure to National Instruments LabView Practical experience using standard off the shelf test equipment:Digital Volt MeterOscilloscope
- Ability to work with a diverse set of scientists, engineers and technical staff with varying skill levels and backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills and communication skills
