Hesston College seeks a Head Cross Country and Track Coach, a 3/4-time, 9-month (minimal summer hours), benefits eligible position to begin August 2019. Part of the Athletic department, the coach will be responsible for all aspects of the cross country and track programs at Hesston College including: recruiting prospective athletes, scheduling, managing budget and travel arrangements, with special emphasis on recruitment, athletic excellence and student success. The coach will mentor and care for student athletes within the context of the mission of Hesston College. Qualifications include: experience and knowledge of cross country and track, ability to teach the skills necessary for competition, ability to recruit student athletes, love for students and commitment to Christian higher education and the mission and values of Hesston College. Minimum requirements include previous coaching experience at the high school level (college level preferred) and bachelor’s degree preferred.
