Position SummaryManage a broad range of pre-award activities including prospecting, budget building, grant-seeking, and programming functions. Manage the pre-award process from RFA to submission with established timelines and processes that communicate effectively to faculty. Provides policy guidance and assistance with all aspects of proposal development, administrative forms, sponsored required certifications and representations, and other compliance requirements. Assist with development of pre-award policy and procedures. Work closely with post-award grant manager to ensure smooth transition from pre-award stage.QualificationsRequired Education:Bachelor's DegreePreferred Education:Master's DegreeRequired Experience:5+ years Experience with grants budget development, management, and implementation, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Knowledge of the regulatory environment affecting sponsored projects (e.g., Uniform Guidance) including research, technical assistance, professional development, consulting, etc.; the ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with diverse groups of stakeholders including faculty, students, and department, school and university administrators.Additional InformationEOE/AA/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disabled/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity
