Job Summary
Adjunct faculty members facilitate students’ achievement of course objectives and prepare college students to matriculate through the undergraduate program.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Online and face-to-face course delivery and instructionPrepare and submit syllabi, grades and other required course documentation in a timely mannerCommunicate course requirements and expectations to studentsPerforms other duties, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in criminal justice, criminology or closely-related field from an accredited university or a J.D. from an ABA accredited law school Ability to teach effectively (both online and in traditional settings) at the university level in an undergraduate criminal justice program. Criminal history and background check clearance. Uphold the mission and values of USM, College of Arts & Sciences, and the School of Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, and Security. Preferred Qualifications Teaching, mentoring and service experience at university level Experience with online course delivery and instruction Professional experience in criminal justice, criminal law, or public safety field. Experience with Canvas technology
