Job description

DescriptionJob Purpose: Provide professional services in support of unit management infield as specified in the particular job posting. Focus will be in aprofessional field such as Communications, Marketing, Customer Service,Academic Administration, Event Management, Procurement, etc. Specific dutieswill be determined based on assignment and unit needs.

 Major Responsibilities:
  • Perform duties related to professional field assignment.
  • Participate in reviews for compliance with policy and governmental regulations in the field.
  • Provide input to department policies and procedures.
  • May provide input to and administer project timelines and budgets.
  • May interact with vendors regarding procurement and delivery issues.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Work Experience: Zero to two years job related experience
  • Certifications: N/A
  • Skills: This job requires application of professional principles, processes and practices; application of regulations; utilization of basic and advanced computer applications including those specific to areas of responsibility; communication skills.



  • QualificationsPreferred Qualifications:
  • Preferred Education: At least one year of college
  • Preferred Work Experience: At least 6 months to a year working or volunteering with K-12 students
  • Preferred Certifications: N/A
  • Preferred Skills: N/A
  • Work duties will include, but are not limitedto:

  • Will be responsible for preparing lesson materials and teaching in a professional manner.
  • Will work hands-on with students to develop in-depth knowledge of course curriculum and taking feedback regarding course and improving for future delivery.
  • Will communicate with program coordinators and parents.
  • Additional Information: This is a temporary position, limited to 1300 hours or 12consecutive months, and subject to ACA and GT guidelines for temporaryemployment.
