Job Details
The Training and Application Specialist will be responsible for the training program for the practice management and related systems, insurance and third party billing; including but not limited to curriculum, manuals, schedules, and evaluations. The incumbent is also responsible for serving as a liaison between the user community, Operations Management and the TUP I.T. Department, maintaining accurate data dictionaries, assist in researching application issues, participates in new application installs, perform quality assurance reviews and serves as a help desk representative. Position must develop ongoing rapport and communicate with internal and external contacts to provide highly complex technical information and service; assess and anticipate recurring customer needs, understand, influence and achieve internal project/work goals.
The essential functions of the training and application specialist position are:
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related field and at least one year of directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills & Abilities:
*Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills, including presentation skills
*Proven ability to provide effective technology support to end users
*Ability to manager I/T within classroom and medical billing environments
Preferred:
* At least two years’ experience in a medical billing environment.
