Description

UCLA's Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences, in conjunction with the UCLA Tourette Association of America's Center of Excellence within the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, seeks a full-time junior-level academic child psychologist to participate in expanding child and adult Tourette and related disorder research and clinical programs. Responsibilities for the position will combine independent and collaborative research, teaching and supervising duties, and direct clinical care in our Child Anxiety, OCD, and Tic Disorder program. The faculty appointment will be in an academic series and rank dependent on the prior experience of the individual. Prior clinical and research accomplishments including postdoctoral training; extramural research funding, expertise in Tourette and related disorder diagnosis and treatment modalities; research treatment, phenotyping, and biomarker investigation, or other specialized research or clinical skills will be considered as added qualifications. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree, qualify for a faculty appointment at UCLA, and must possess or be eligible for a California Psychologist license.
