Excellent knowledge of Windows operating systems. Familiarity with standardized testing helpful. Attention to detail a must. Saturday testing for National test (SAT, ACT, GRE, LSAT), not every weekend
Previous experience administering standardized tests (ACT, SAT, TSIA, High School Equivalency, etc.)
Career assessment experience
Strong computer skills for troubleshooting problems during testing
Social Media knowledge
Maintains testing lab and ensures all computers are in good working order, maintains computers to meet technical and software requirements for all tests, works with University and testing company’s technical support as needed;
Schedules and administers standardized tests as well as proctored tests for other universities, responsible for making room reservations, keeps files on proctored tests: schedules proctors when needed for test administration;
Maintains accommodation files for students and administers accommodation testing, works with professors on receiving required tests for students;
Updates test administration procedures as needed, and performs other related test administration duties, orders test materials in a timely manner, maintains testing manuals;
Familiar with all tests administered at Sul Ross Testing Center; monitors State/National tests given at Sul Ross, follows standards of test companies; ensures security of tests and testing materials;
Maintains and regularly updates social media sites for department as well as website;
Helps with career fair and support for career assessments with students;
Other duties as assigned.
Flexible hours, including some Saturdays. Position is Security Sensitive
