Job Description Summary
The Management Department at Bentley University invites applications for two tenure-track positions in Organizational Behavior, effective fall 2020. The rank of the appointment is open to assistant and associate professors. Salary is competitive.

We are looking for candidates with a PhD in Organizational Behavior or a closely related discipline with a research focus and a teaching interest in Organizational Behavior.
Responsibilities include publishing high-quality scholarly research, teaching organizational behavior at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and participating in other academic and professional activities. In addition, Bentley has a doctoral program and new faculty members are encouraged to work with our doctoral candidates. Faculty members are encouraged to apply for external research funding.

Departmental faculty members have a diverse set of research interests and have published in top academic journals including: Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Learning and Education, Academy of Management Review, Business and Society, Business Ethics Quarterly, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Human Relations, Industrial and Corporate Change, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of World Business, Long Range Planning, Management Science, MIS Quarterly, Organization Science, Organization Studies, Research Policy and Strategic Management Journal. Our distinguished faculty has received many research and teaching awards from the university and professional organizations.

Minimum Qualifications:

A well-qualified applicant must have a PhD in Organizational Behavior or a closely related discipline with a research focus and a teaching interest in organizational behavior. Applicants must also demonstrate evidence of their dedication to teaching and research excellence. The faculty member hired for this position will be expected to be an enthusiastic participant in the Management Department, Bentley University, and the wider academic community.
