The Coordinator of International Initiatives supports broader internationalization initiatives and has a heavy emphasis on data collection, evaluation and assessment and liaising with CMU's colleges, deans, chairs, and faculty and with CMU's overseas partner universities.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
One year of experience working in international education.
Cross-cultural communication skills.
Experience studying, working, or living abroad.
Ability to gather and analyze data and draw relevant conclusions. Experience with spreadsheets and databases.
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with faculty, university departments, and overseas institutions.
Ability to use initiative, independent judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple complex tasks and projects in a fact-paced environment, including excellent follow up and attention to detail.
