Adjunct Instructor of Writing Studies and Rhetoric

Job description

The Department of Writing Studies and Composition at Hofstra University, Long Island, is seeking to fill anticipated part-time adjunct teaching positions. The position involves teaching the first- and/or second-semester required writing course (WSC 1 or WSC 2), and/or Business Writing (WSC 130) in the Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences during the fall 2019 semester.

A master’s degree in composition, creative writing, English, or a similar field is required. Experience in teaching composition at the college level is strongly preferred.
