One full-time lecturer position in Economics is expected to be offered and filled beginning August, 2019. The ideal candidate will have at least an earned Master’s degree in Economics, from an accredited graduate program, with strong interest in teaching and applied research. The successful candidate will teach Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, and/or Survey of Economics courses. A variety of other undergraduate economics courses will also be available if the candidate is interested in teaching those upper level courses. Research and service requirements are competitive with other AACSB accredited institutions.

Clayton State University, a campus of the University System of Georgia, is located in a park-like setting surrounded by lakes in south suburban Atlanta. The College of Business is accredited by the AACSB International and has about 40 full-time faculty and staff and 1200 undergraduate and MBA students. The College currently offers five undergraduate BBA majors, seven minors, including Business Economics, and five MBA concentrations.
