Job Description Summary

The Physical Plant Department seeks summer help for the 2019 summer in the following areas:

  • painting crew
  • grounds crew
  • light construction

  • Mobility sufficient to enter and exit confined spaces in accordance with established procedures, climb and descend ladders in a safe manner, and walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Dexterity sufficient to operate manual and power tools, light and heavy duty equipment and other equipment utilized in the course of work.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items weighing up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Endurance sufficient to maintain routine discomfort from exposure to moderate levels heat, cold, and moisture.
