Adjunct Assistant Professor of Drawing and Painting
Beloit College is seeking an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Drawing and Painting to teach two studio art classes over the course of the 2019-20 academic year. The successful candidate will teach Figure Drawing in the fall, and another studio art class in the spring to be decided in conjunction with the department. Appointment begins in mid-August, 2019. Additional responsibilities would include minor participation in departmental service and light studio maintenance (such as ordering supplies as needed). Candidates should have expertise in painting and drawing, with teaching experience beyond teaching assistantship preferred, as well as evidence of commitment to engaged and innovative teaching with an awareness of related critical and theoretical issues. MFA preferred.
