    Oversees the delivery and operation of media services for special eventsDirectly communicates with clients regarding their special event requirements and recommends media support solutionsHandles various operations within the department; such as inventory, programming theatrical light, & basic computer management and maintenanceServes as lead technician directing a technical team during major events as assignedPerforms various equipment set-ups, such as computers & laptops, video projectors, HD televisions, multimedia carts, video switchers & sound reinforcementTroubleshoots all multimedia systems and provides basic support in an academic settingWorks in collaboration with a team of experienced technicians

  • Associate’s degree in a multi-media field and four (4) years experience working in a related field or any equivalent combination of education and experience
  • All degrees must be from a reginally accredited institution
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, software programs and Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of installation and operation of multimedia equipmentKnowledge and understanding of training and education principlesPossess strong customer service and public relation skillsPossess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicateAbility to perform standard equipment set-upsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the publicAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulationsAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formAbility to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend assignments
