The Department of Industrial and Mechanical Engineering at the School of Engineering (located in Byblos, Lebanon) invites applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in the field of Industrial Engineering effective September 2019. Candidates must have an undergraduate degree in engineering (preferably in Industrial Engineering or related field) and a Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering or Engineering management or any related field with emphasis in one or more of the following areas:
- Operations research and optimization techniques
- Industrial systems design, production systems
- Systems simulation and stochastic processes
- Quality control and quality management systems
- Reliability
- Financial Engineering
The successful candidates will be expected to teach at both the graduate and undergraduate levels and to actively participate in research as well as to perform services to the university.
