Job Description:
This position Responsible for financial and programmatic monitoring and reporting for Texas OneGulf including all subrecipient monitoring and invoicing. As project coordinator, this position will be responsible to coordinate with the Office of Sponsored Research to meet grants requirements and maintain all records for the Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for preparation and review of Financial Status Reports, and semi-annual reports to ensure that all requirements under scope of work(s) are satisfied, contract requirements are met, and the project continues with sound management practices.
  • Develop and implement plans for effective administrative tracking of program expenditures, and other grants management and reporting requirements, including all deliverables associated with all awards and subawards.
  • Responsible for preparation of all procurement documents, including the initiation of contracts, and otherwise ensuring that all program expenditures are in accordance with applicable federal and state procurement laws, rules, and policies.
  • Coordinate receipt of awards and contract documentation. Maintain proposal and funding records for audit purposes and prepare scheduled and special reports.
  • Serve as a liaison between the University and grant sponsors of Texas OneGulf. Research, draft, and approve formal responses in addition to quotations, contracts, and agreements related to Texas OneGulf Subawards and RFP?s.
  • Prepare documents for Texas OneGulf various meetings: Consortium Leadership, Science Advisory and others as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field.
  • Seven (7) years of related experience in project coordination/administration.
  • Additional education may be used as a substitution for the minimum experience requirements:
    • Bachelors degree and seven (7) years of experience.
    • Masters degree and five (5) years of experience.
    • Doctorate degree and three (3) years of experience.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with grant and contract administration in a University or state agency setting which includes providing compliance support with State and Federal regulations.
