Job Description Summary

Working under general supervision, assists Head Football Coach and Assistant Athletic Director for Football Operations with all football related functions and office administration duties. This is a 12-month, full time position.

Essential Functions:

Promotes the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program, to include adhering to all departmental policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Atlantic Coast Conference and the NCAA.
Assists the Assistant Athletic Director for Football Operations with all football related functions.
Assists Head Football Coach with office administration and support duties.
Provides support for home and away team travel to include transportation, hotels, meals, etc.
Travels to away contests with the football team; continues football related duties upon arrival.
Assists with new student orientation activities.
Provides assistance with Bowl trips to include schedules, transportation, facilities, etc.
Participates in the filming of practice and games
Manage and produce all creative video needs for Wake Forest Football
Create/Oversee weekly team highlight, recruiting and motivational videos
Organize and maintain keyword library of game highlights
Help hire staff and coordinate responsibilities of student assistants in the video office
Train student staff in creative video techniques and execution/coaches film technique and workflow
Coordinate official visit technical needs with Video Coordinator/Recruiting Coordinator
Provide 24 hour technical support to football coaches and staff
Set up and configure hardware and software on team computers and iPads
Facilitates video exchange with opponents.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Assists with any football related needs of the staff at the direction of the Head Coach or the Assistant Athletic Director for Football Operations.

Additional Job Description

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Working knowledge of NCAA and ACC rules as it pertains to regulations of video exchange and football operations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and the Internet.
Ability to travel with football team.
Ability to work weekend and evening hours on occasion.
Valid driver license with good driving record; must be insurable.
Ability to understand, follow and enforce safety procedures.

Responsible for own work only.
