The Curry School of Education and Human Development at the University of Virginia seeks applicants to teach fitness courses in the Lifetime Physical Activity (LPA) program in the Department of Kinesiology for the Fall 2019. Instructors are potentially needed in the following sports and activities:
Climbing as Mindfulness
Cross Training & Conditioning
Dance for Fitness
Introduction to Mindfulness
Mindful Facilitation and Leadership
Mindfulness and Nature
Meditation Peer Leadership
Running for Fitness
Swimming for Fitness
Women's Weight Training
Preference will be given to full-time enrolled UVa graduate and doctoral students, and UVa employees. A master's degree, equivalent coursework in a doctoral program or significant experience in the physical activity discipline you are applying for is required for a faculty wage appointment . Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
