Job Details
Job Purpose In this role, you will provide advanced, diversified administrative support of a substantial and confidential nature to the School of Engineering dean. Anticipate the dean's needs and proactively solve problems and/or independently handle issues. Work is performed autonomously, without specific instructions or prescribed procedures, and with delegated authority to exercise discretion and judgment regarding matters of significance on behalf of the dean. You should be analytical, knowledgeable, and organized with a proactive attitude and strong leadership skills. You will manage an administrative team supporting multiple dean’s office groups and two senior associate deans. Additionally, you will focus on attraction and retention of administrative talent and streamlining office operations to maximize quality and efficiency while reducing costs.
