The University of Miami’s Department of Philosophy is seeking a lecturer in Philosophy for a full-time, non-tenure track appointment for the 2019-2020 academic year. Area of Specialization & Concentration: Open. This is a one-year post. The responsibilities of this post include teaching 4 undergraduate courses in philosophy per semester and maintaining regular office hours for students each week. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in philosophy. Ability to teach contemporary moral issues, metaphysics, and bioethics is desirable.
