College for Kids 2018 at Aims Community College provides summer educational fun for students ages 9-12. The classes that are offered by this program are educational and inspiring while the environment is fun, creative and inviting.

Each day kids will take two classes with a lunch to split the day. Morning courses will run from 9 am to noon, Monday through Thursday. Afternoon courses will run from 1-4 pm, Monday through Thursday. Classroom Aids will work 8am-5pm and allow for some flexibility in their schedule.

College for Kids will have sessions in Greeley, Loveland and Fort Lupton:
Greeley – June 10-13
Ft. Lupton – June 17-20
Loveland – June 24-27

The College for Kids (CFK) Program Assistant will directly assist and report to the CFK Program Coordinator. This position will work 10-15 hours a week with an expected increase in amount of hours as the program dates get closer. During the three weeks of CFK, the Program Assistant will be expected to work full-time.

This is a temporary position and expected to last until July 1.

Duties Include:
- Creates excel spreadsheets and word documents
- Registers students in College computer system
- Contacts community entities regarding the CFK program
- Greets walk-in guests
- Organizes materials and supplies
- Gets to know all campuses
- Communicates with CFK student parents
- Answers phones/CFK inquiries
- Assists in CFK orientations for instructors and classroom aids
- Is available to travel to Loveland and Fort Lupton upon request
- Conducts general internet searches

During the weeks of College for Kids
- Assists CFK instructors with classroom setup/breakdown
-Supervises students outside of classroom during check-in/out, lunch, walking to/from assigned classroom
-Monitors students in the classrooms, cafeteria, and hallways throughout the day including morning check-in and afternoon check-out
-Serves as a chaperone and escort students as needed to other areas such as the lunch break area/cafeteria, between classrooms/buildings, etc.
-Accepts and participates in the mission of Aims Community College: To provide knowledge and skills to advance quality of life, economic vitality, and overall success of the communities we serve.
-Supports the values of Aims Community College: communication, safety, respect and professionalism, trust.
-Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually and adheres to the agreed upon work schedule
-Other duties as assigned
