Duties/Responsibilities Duties/ResponsibilitiesPerforms general administrative duties: answers telephone calls; open, sort and distributes incoming correspondences; type forms and correspondence; filing; filling and managing UGA-required forms including but not limited to shipment and importation of reagents, and material transfer documents.
Percentage of time 25 Duties/Responsibilities Duties/ResponsibilitiesAssists faculty supervisor and lab members with the preparation and submission of extramural grant applications, including filling out and maintaining forms, budget development, interacting with sponsored program staff, filing out/submitting relevant compliance paperwork.
Percentage of time 20 Duties/Responsibilities Duties/ResponsibilitiesAssists faculty supervisor with ordering lab supplies and tracking deliveries, ensuring equipment maintenance contracts are kept up to date.

Monitors expenditures and works with the faculty supervisor to ensure appropriate expenses and budgets are maintained.
