DepartmentReporting to the Coordinator Procurement & Business Services the Financial and Office Assistant provides financial and administrative support to the Toronto Nanofabrication Centre’s (TNFC) office.  This includes processing financial transactions through FIS; creating and processing lab invoices; performing the Accounts Receivable function, following up with outstanding invoices, tracking service orders, tracking and filing user access forms; ordering lab/office supplies, taking meeting minutes; drafting reports and other duties as assigned.



CampusEducation:

Ontario college diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Experience:

Minimum two (2) year of relevant experience including Accounts Receivable (A/R) and financial information systems (FIS)

 

Skills:

Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; working knowledge of FIS or similar system; knowledge of basic accounting principles; ability to interpret policies and guidelines; strong communication skills (written and oral); excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; demonstrated attention to detail;

 

Other:

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
