The position has two primary roles. The instructor role encompasses teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing and sales. The normal teaching load will be four classes per semester. The Director of Collaborative Learning for the UA Sales Program role encompasses (a) overseeing engagement of corporate partners in collaborative learning activities and projects, (b) work in conjunction with Director of Corporate Engagement to build collaborative opportunities, © Manage graduate student staff associated with collaborative learning efforts, and (d) maintain and advance facilities/technology for collaborative learning. Will work in conjunction with Director of Corporate Engagement, with both positions reporting directly to the Managing Director of the UA Sales Program.

The Culverhouse College of Business at the University of Alabama invites applications for a non-tenure earning three-year renewable position in Marketing effective August 16, 2019. Salary is competitive.

Minimum qualifications:
A Master’s degree in business or related field is required as is sales-related experience. Experience teaching sales at the college level is also required.

Preferred qualifications:
Specialized training in sales is highly desirable. Candidates with specific, recent, and relevant experience working on corporate engagement and collaborative learning efforts within a university context will be preferred as will those having experience in corporate sales training and consulting. Candidates should exhibit (a) strong team and project-management skills, (b) a desire and ability to utilize their experience and connections to build collaborative learning opportunities for our students, and (c ) a willingness to work with the UA Sales Program leadership to achieve mutually agreed upon goals and objectives.

This is a non-tenure earning position renewable for three-year periods at the discretion of the University with no expectation of continued employment beyond any three-year contract period. Continuation of this appointment to its scheduled termination date is dependent upon meeting the department and college performance standards and compliance with all policies in the faculty handbook and general UA employment policies.
