Working Title Assistant Football Coach – Wide Receivers Job Summary

Savannah State University seeks qualified applicants for Assistant Football Coach (Wide Receivers). This position provides support to the Head Coach and the Offensive Coordinator in all aspects of on-field coaching, player development, academic success, recruiting, film study, practice organization, position meetings, scouting opponents, special teams coaching, and other duties as assigned within the department. May be directed to perform job related tasks other than those specifically delineated in this description. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required. Wide Receivers experience as a player or coach at the post-secondary level or higher. Must possess the ability to coach wide receivers. The successful candidate is also required to pass the coach’s recruiting examination and have knowledge of NCAA By-Laws. Background and/or credit check may be required.
