Provide Content-specific tutoring to student-athletes and maintain daily records of the tutoring sessions.

Shift specifics: 6-12 hours per week; must be available to work at least 2 nights per week (Sunday – Thursday).

Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period

Minimum Education Required

Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University; Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University; successful completion in 3 or more of the following courses or equivalent courses with a grade of “B” or better: ENGL 1101 or 1102 (Composition I or II), ENGL 2111 or 2112 (World Literature I or II), HIST 1112 (World History II), HIST 2110 (US A Comprehensive Survey), SOCI 1101 (Intro to Sociology), PSYC 1101 (Intro to Psychology), INTS 2130 (Into to International Studies), BIOL 1103 (Concepts of Biology), BIOL 1230 (Environmental Biology), PHIL 2010 (Intro to Philosophy), GEOG 1130 (World Reginal Geography), POLS 1101 (American Government), ECON 2105 (Principles of Macroeconomics), STAT 2231/1401 (Elementary Statistics).
