Job Description:

The American University in Cairo, Department of the Arts, is seeking a visiting assistant professor or instructor for a one-semester, full-time position, for the fall semester of 2019, to teach the following courses: Intro to Music, World Music, Applied Private Guitar Instruction and Guitar Ensemble. The position also entails managing the activities of the guitar and bass studios.


Significant international experience as a guitar performer and educator is preferred. A graduate degree in guitar performance and experience teaching at the university level is strongly preferred.
