Assists and troubleshoots with applicants for electronic application and onboarding process via phone, email, and at computers in HR Lobby. Picks up and distributes mail to appropriate sections of HR daily. Manages department email and fax accounts. Supervises Federal Work Study students.

Serves as the Veteran Liaison for the FSU Human Resources department. Provides administrative support for Veterans' Initiative and Veteran applicants. Assists with ensuring compliance with Veterans' Preference applicants and maintaining accurate records.

Serves as the backup for processing Level 2 fingerprinting services for University's Background Check Process.

Assists with recruitment efforts to include submitting weekly job opening reports to external agencies and providing assistance for special projects department wide.Qualifications High school diploma/equivalent and four years of experience. (Note: Post-high school education may substitute for experience at the comparable rate.)

Must enjoy working with the public, and have the ability to provide a high level of courteous and professional assistance to a diverse faculty, staff, and applicant community.
Previous customer service experience.
Experience with office practices, procedures, and etiquette to include familiarity with standard office procedures and equipment, and excellent telephone etiquette.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook or comparable software.
Experience prioritizing, multitasking, and managing time accordingly.
Ability to assist applicants with troubleshooting the electronic application and onboarding system.
