Shenandoah University’s Eleanor Wade Custer School of Nursing is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant position at our ICPH location in Fairfax, Virginia. This position serves as the main office contact for the Eleanor Wade Custer’s School of Nursing’s ICPH Fairfax site

Responsibilities of the position include: Management of phone calls, emails and other communications on behalf of Nursing’s ICPH campus; scheduling Nursing classrooms, exam rooms and meeting needs; ordering office and exam room supplies; coordinating site needs for Nursing events and assisting Nursing administration and faculty as needed; maintaining School of Nursing social media and web pages; obtain security badges for faculty and students; ensuring badges remain activated for faculty and staff; and assisting with graduate student tracking and reporting needs as needed.

Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is required. Higher Ed/Student Services experience is desired. Customer service experience is preferred. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite (docs, sheets, forms, etc) are essential. Applicant must possess good organizational and written & oral communication skills; exceptional attention to detail; be able to work in a complex organization environment; and willing to learn the University’s Learning Management systems. Applicant must be a team player and display great customer service skills in a busy, complex organizational structure.
